Dash cam installation

Hello all,

I have just picked up my Avenger Hybrid Summit automatic l. So far it feels a great car. And very happy with it.

I removed my Nextbase 622G dash cam from my previous car to hard wire into this car. It took me a while to find the fuse box which is in the engine bay.

Does anyone know how to feed the cables through from the dashboard side to the engine bay fuse box, or is the another solution apart from using the cigarette lighter plug for power?

Congratulations on your new Avenger Hybrid Summit! For the dash cam installation you can route the wires along the trim or beneath the carpet to reach the engine bay fuse box. If you'd prefer not to use the cigarette lighter you might also look into using an OBD-II adapter or a fuse tap for power. I hope this information is helpful

Thanks for the reply. I not too sure how to feed the cable into the engine from inside.

I will have a look at the OBD II option.
